Realized price
The average cost at which each circulating bitcoin was acquired, aggregated across the whole network — a dollar reference price derived from the realized cap.
Why it matters
When market price crosses below this line, the average holder is at a loss; historically price has bounced off this line during bear markets.
Build it yourself
Spread the realized cap across the supply and you get the average per-coin cost basis.
Realized price = Realized cap ÷ Circulating supply

Illustrative example numbers for practice — not real data.
How it's calculated, step by step
- It starts from the realized cap (see the MVRV indicator).
- Circulating supply = market cap ÷ price (avoids a separate lookup).
- Realized price = realized cap ÷ circulating supply.
Coincident signal.
Compare it directly against the price chart — it's the same scale (USD).
